Arrest made in deadly Valentine's Day shooting

North Las Vegas Police have made an arrest in the shooting death of a man on Valentine's Day.

Police took Michael Cooley Sr., 55, into custody Thursday night. He was booked into Las Vegas City Jail for murder with a deadly weapon.

According to North Las Vegas Police, he shot a 36-year-old man in the 2200 block of Superior Position Street around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 following a verbal argument. The coroner's office has yet to release the man's identity.
