Four, including 16-year-old, face murder charges in NLV shooting

Four men are facing murder charges in the shooting death of a man who some described as a bully, according to their arrest reports.

Donte Moore, 16, who has been certified as an adult in in this case, D'vonte Bridges, 22, Michael Thomas, 24, and Trashaun Brooks, 23 are all facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.

Maurice Williams, 24, was shot to death on May 14, 2018 at an apartment complex on the 3300 block of Civic Center Boulevard.

According to the arrest reports, Williams was shot by Thomas and Brooks. A few weeks prior to the shooting, Brooks said Williams had shot at him. "I was mad about him shooting at me with my sons," he told police.

A witness told police they heard the men discuss killing Williams prior to the shooting.
