City Officials, Leaders to Take Stock of Ward 2 | Business
No city in Nevada took a harder blow from the recession than North Las Vegas and city leaders want to look first-hand at how the recovery is going.
To take stock of the health of business in the city, North Las Vegas officials and local leaders plan to visit with business owners and workers during a “City Walk” on March 25. A walk is planned in each of the City Council wards this year.
The walk will be conducted by the City’s Economic Development Division and the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. Participants will gather at 9 a.m. at the chamber offices, 3365 W. Craig Road, Suite 25. They will be grouped into teams, and each team will be assigned to a different target area within Ward 2. The teams will spend about two hours in their respective areas, and then reconvene to talk about their findings.
