Charity Wants Help if You Were Dumped by a Chump | Charity
If it’s time to forget about that lost love once and for all, Goodwill wants to help.
Between now and Valentine’s Day, bring the stuff your ex left behind to one of Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s donation centers as part of Goodwill’s annual “Dump Your X’s Stuff” donation drive. There are more than 40 places to drop off items throughout southern Nevada.
Goodwill’s one caveat: make sure you have permission to dump after you’ve been dumped. The items either must belong to you or you must have the other person’s OK to get rid of them. Goodwill of Southern Nevada and participating partners are not liable for items donated that do not belong to the individual donating.
Donations of “gently used” goods are sold in Goodwill of Southern Nevada retail stores and fund programs like Career Connections, which officials say helped 1,800 people in southern Nevada find employment in 2012.
