North Las Vegas Police are looking for a man who robbed a store in early January.

According to police, the man walked into a convenience store near Lake Mead Boulevard and Simmons Street just after noon Jan. 8. Witnesses say he walked to one of the refrigerators, took an item and walked towards the exit.

The clerk confronted the man as he tried to leave without paying for the merchandise. The man then pulled a knife on the clerk and left the store on foot, police said. The clerk was not hurt.

The man is described as a 30-year-old black man about 6 foot and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red San Francisco 49ers baseball cap, a red hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.
