Neighborhood Cleanup at Local Park Saturday

Neighborhood Cleanup at Local Park Saturday

A neighborhood cleanup project will take place in North Las Vegas on Saturday morning.

Project Skyline, a community partnership with the College of Southern Nevada and LUNAS Recycling, will work with city representatives to clean up a neighborhood in need.

This year, Project Skyline will focus on the area around Joe Kneip Park, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers will meet at the park at 2800 Judson Ave. There is no minimum age, so families are encouraged to bring their children to join in and have fun while helping the neighborhood. The event also features free food and music.

Register to volunteer by calling 651-4698 or send an email to csnserves@csn.edu.

For more information, call North Las Vegas Outreach Coordinator Kathi Thomas-Gibson at 633-5632.
