NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- North Las Vegas police have arrested a man for a double shooting that left one person dead.
Police say 33-year-old Mario Camacho was arrested Thursday and booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center. Camacho is accused of shooting two people in a garage near Tropical Parkway and Camino Eldorado. Both victims were transported to University Medical Center where one later died.
Police say Camacho lived at the home where the shooting happened. Camacho has been charged with first degree murder with a deadly weapon, first degree attempt murder with a deadly weapon, first degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon, coercion with force, and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
