NLV Police Looking for Drivers and Pedestrians Ignoring Rules | News

Police in North Las Vegas held a Joining Forces event focusing on drivers not obeying speed limits. Officers also looked for drivers who failed to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks and pedestrians who failed to use crosswalks.

The special enforcement was from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at some of the busiest roads in the city of North Las Vegas. Officers focused on areas with high car volume and pedestrian traffic. The event was made possible with a grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety.
