NLV Mayor to Hold Community Meeting | News
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Mayor Shari Buck is inviting residents to take part in a community meeting where she plans to discuss how North Las Vegas will meet its strategic goals for the next year.
North Las Vegas had a budget shortfall of $33 million which forced the city to layoff employees and move its prisoners to the Las Vegas Detention Center.
Budget Cuts Become Reality for North Las Vegas Police and Fire
The meeting will take place Wednesday, July 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Aliante Station Tucson Room at 7300 Aliante Parkway.
