LAS VEGAS - The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the motorcycle rider who died in a crash early Tuesday morning as 23-year-old Christopher Peistrup.

The cause of death was blunt force head and chest trauma. The manner of death was ruled accidental.

The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of U.S. 95 near Cheyenne Avenue.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, Peistrup ran his motorcycle in the back of a truck. Troopers say it appears the victim was speeding. The driver of the truck was not hurt and is not expected to face any charges.
