NLV Police looking for stabbing suspect

North Las Vegas Police are looking for a robber who stabbed a man during a robbery in a casino parking lot.

According to police, at around 12:30 p.m. Sept. 9, the man approached the couple as they were walking through the parking lot of the casino near Craig and Losee roads.

The man demanded personal items from the couple but became impatient. Police say he pushed the woman down, pulled out a knife and stabbed the male victim.

The suspect then took the couple’s car keys and left the parking lot in their car, which is a silver 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. The car has Nevada license plate 436YNV. The couple was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The man police are looking for is described as a 25-year-old African-American man about 5 foot 10 and 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue striped shirt and blue jeans.
