YMCA Offers Summer Passes and Day Camps for Kids

The YMCA is again offering its Sizzlin’ Summer Pass and Y Day Camps.

The pass is $112 for individuals and $215 for the family. It gives people access to all the pools, wellness centers and classes offered at the four YMCAs around southern Nevada. The passes are on sale now through July 31. They’ll allow for four months of access from the date of purchase. The outdoor pools are already open. People who are not members can still go to the pools for $5 per person per day.

Day camps start June 11 for kids 5 to 15 years old. Camp choices include cooking, science, zoology, rock climbing, glamour girls, sports, cheer and many more. The camps are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. To accommodate more schedules, the Y offers free care for campers from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camp prices start at $136. There is also a daily drop-in rate of $46. Financial assistance is available. No child will be turned away because of an inability to pay.

The day camps and summer passes are available at all four locations:

  • Bill & Lillie Heinrich YMCA, 4141 Meadows Lane
  • Durango Hills YMCA, 3521 N. Durango Dr.
  • Centennial Hills YMCA, 6601 N. Buffalo Dr.
  • The SkyView YMCA, 3050 E. Centennial Parkway
