Tens of thousands of plastic Easter eggs will drop from the sky at Egg Drop Vegas on April 16.
The unique Easter egg event will take place at Seastrand Park in North Las Vegas from 9 a.m. to noon. Beginning at 9 a.m., the activities feature face painting, bounce houses, live music, delicious food and more. At approximately 10:30 a.m., a helicopter will hover over the park and drop 25,000 Easter eggs to kick off the giant Easter egg hunt. Children will collect empty plastic Easter eggs and then exchange those eggs for candy.
Visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods to help City Mission of Las Vegas. Egg Drop is a free community event sponsored by Grace Point Church, the City of North Las Vegas and other community organizations.
