Graffiti Project to Slow Traffic on Interstate 15

Traffic will be slowed both directions on Interstate 15 near North Las Vegas on Saturday night for a cleaning and anti-graffiti project.

From 7:30 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, northbound and southbound I-15 near the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge structure south of Lake Mead Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes in both directions in order to clean an overhead sign and install cages designed to prevent graffiti.

In addition to closing the two right lanes in both directions, the northbound I-15 on-ramp from Washington Avenue and the southbound I-15 on-ramp from eastbound Lake Make Boulevard will also be closed. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
