Lanes on I-15 Closing This Weekend for Graffiti Cleanup

Crews will be closing lanes and restricting on-ramps along north and southbound I-15 this weekend to clean up graffiti.

From 7:30 p.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday, on I-15 just south of Lake Mead Boulevard, travel lanes will be reduced to two lanes in both directions so Nevada Department of Transportation crews can clean an overhead sign of graffiti. Crews will also be installing cages on the sign to prevent future graffiti problems.

Besides the lane closures, crews will also close the northbound I-15 on-ramp from Washington Avenue and the southbound I-15 on-ramp from eastbound Lake Mead Boulevard, during the same time period.

The same areas will also be closed at 8 p.m. Sunday through 5 a.m. Monday.
