Fire Rages Near Recycling Company in North Las Vegas | News

NORTH LAS VEGAS -- A fire in the area of Lamb and Craig produced thick black smoke in North Las Vegas. The address of the fire matches that of a recycling company.

North Las Vegas fire officials report the blaze began around 10 a.m. when bales of cardboard erupted in flames. A total of 32 units from jurisdictions across southern Nevada responded to the fire.

No injuries were reported. The blaze is in an industrial area between I-15 and Nellis Air Force Base.

A Las Vegas fire spokesman says Las Vegas firefighters are assisting North Las Vegas crews at the scene.
