Driving You Crazy: Construction at Losee and Centennial
News

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Bernie says construction starts, but never finishes at Losee Road and Centennial Parkway. He says traffic is diverted in unnatural ways with seemingly no work taking place. Bernie calls the area a “death trap”.

Numerous projects have been taking place along Losee in recent months.

First, Southwest Gas relocated its facility.

When that move finished, North Las Vegas began to install underground flood control boxes and traffic signal conduits as part of its Losee 2B Project, which extends from Lone Mountain Road to the 215 Beltway. Those improvements should be completed by mid-July.

Additional work happened at Craig Road and Losee Road. Crews built Somerset Academy, which Andre Agassi helped fund.

Currently, the city is finishing the Lone Mountain pedestrian bridge, which should wrap in two months.
